GRAMBLING, La.| In the battle of the tigers the Lady Tigers of GSU entering the game 7-5 could not find their rhythm against the Lady Tigers of TSU.Despite the final score, Warmsley ended the game with 17 points and 10 rebounds
Grambling State struggled with Texas Southern's defense in the first quarter, letting them create a 10 point lead early on.In the second quarter Grambling fought to close the lead but with a defensive rush from Texas Southern the first half ended 26-39 in TSU's favor.
Relying heavily on free throws and field goals in the second half Grambling closed the lead to a four point game, fighting to secure the win Kahia Warmsley answered every bucket TSU made but with a untimely fouls GSU fell in the end.Â
