GRAMBLING, LA | The Grambling State University women's volleyball team battled to a thrilling 3-2 victory against the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff on November 7th at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center. This hard-fought win brings Grambling's record to 9-15 overall and 5-7 in SWAC play, while Ark.-Pine Bluff fell to 3-23 overall and 1-11 in the conference.Â
The teams traded momentum throughout the match, with Arkansas-Pine Bluff taking the first set 25-22. Grambling responded by dominating the second and third sets with scores of 25-19 and 25-13. Arkansas fought back in the fourth, winning 25-16, but Grambling sealed the victory with a decisive 15-7 fifth set.Â

• Kai Williams led Grambling's attack with 17 kills on a .289 hitting percentage, adding 19.5 points to her season stats.Â
• Essence Allen contributed 10 kills, 10 digs, and 2 service aces, scoring 13 points with a .171 hitting percentage.Â
• Ra'Niya Brown added 9 kills and hit at .238, while Kennya Sykes provided 4 kills on .273 hitting.Â
• Letícia Correa orchestrated the offense with 30 assists and added 5 digs, while Dylan Hoskins stabilized the defense with 13 digs.Â
• Grambling held an overall hitting percentage of .183, posting 56 kills and 64 digs.Â
