Grambling State Dominates Southern With 10-0 Victory

HOUSTON, Texas | The Grambling State University baseball team blanked Southern University, 10-0 at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas on Saturday afternoon. 
 
From the opening pitch to the final out, Grambling State (1-1) showcased its offensive firepower. With standout performances at the plate and in the field, the Tigers left no doubt about their ability to compete at the highest level.
 
How It Happened
 
Grambling State showcased their offensive power early in the game, jumping out to an early lead in the top of thefirst inning. Trevor Hatton's triple to right center set the tone, followed by timely hits from Cameron Bufford and Julian Murphy, driving in runs and putting pressure on Southern's defense from the start.
 
As the game progressed, GSU continued to capitalize on opportunities, particularly in the fourth inning when theyscored four additional runs. Despite Southern's efforts to contain the Tigers, errors and defensive mistakes allowed Grambling State to extend their lead and maintain control of the game.
