  • Leading 5-1 in the bottom of the second inning, the Tigers added six runs. Murphy pushed GSU's lead to 7-1 with a 2-RBI single to right field. With the Tigers ahead 9-1, an error at second base allowed two more runs cross the plate.
  • With GSU on top 13-1 in the fourth inning, Kyle Walker walloped a 2-run homer over the left field wall, stretching Grambling's advantage to 15-1.
