HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1: Grambling opened the match with competitive early rallies, including kills from Kenya Lucas, Avri Solik-Fifarek, and Rihianna Brown. The Lady Tigers trailed by just one at 15–14 before Prairie View surged ahead with a series of kills from Kylee Owens and a service ace from Camille Middleton. Despite strong defensive efforts from Keli'i and timely swings from Brown, Grambling dropped the opening frame 25–18.

Set 2: Prairie View jumped out quickly behind aggressive serving, including another ace from Owens. Brown provided a spark with a kill and a service ace, but the Lady Panthers capitalized on extended runs and efficient blocking at the net. Grambling struggled to find offensive rhythm, finishing with three kills in the set, and PVAMU took the frame 25–12.

Set 3: Grambling showed fight early, highlighted by a service ace from Howard and kills from Lucas, Brown, and Solik-Fifarek. However, Prairie View's balanced attack and pressure from the service line created separation midway through the set. Despite Keli'i's steady back-row presence and additional kills from Binion and Haxton, Prairie View closed the match with a 25–12 victory in the final set.
