BIRMINGHAM, Al. | Grambling State's Kahia Warmlsey has been named to the Southwestern Athletic Conference All-SWAC Second Team.
Warmsley a senior from Shreveport, LA. was pivotal for the Lady Tigers throughout the season. She averaged a team-leading 13.4 points per game while shooting 36.6 percent from the field.
Warmsley ranks 4th in the conference in scoring with 389 total points. She scored more than 20 points five times this season including a career high 27 points to take down Mississippi Valley State on the road.
Warmley was recognized with SWAC Weekly honors twice this season as well as being named the HBCU Women's Basketball player of the week by HBCU+ on the week of Jan. 29th.
She racked up 134 rebounds, 50 assists, and 49 steals to go along with her high volume scoring.
