GRAMBLING, La. | For the second year in a row, the Grambling State University men's basketball team will compete in the Chris Paul HBCU Classic. This year's tournament will be held at the Gateway Center Arena in Atlanta, Ga. On Dec. 18-19.
The Tigers, led by first-year head coach Patrick Crarey II, will face Norfolk State of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) at 7:30 p.m. ET on Dec. 18 and Hampton of the Coastal Athletic Conference (CAA) at 5:30 p.m. ET on Dec. 19
This year's contest with NSU will be the third meeting between the Tigers and Spartans in the Chris Paul HBCU Classic. Last season, GSU fell 76-70 to NSU. In the 2021 Chris Paul HBCU Classic, Grambling State lost another close battle to Norfolk State 70-63.
Tickets for the 2025 Chris Paul HBCU Challenge will go on sale at a later date.
