GRAMBLING, La. | Grambling State returns to Eddie G. Robinson Memorial Stadium on Saturday for a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) matchup against No. 22 Jackson State, with kickoff set for 4 p.m. on SWAC TV.
Saturday's game marks the 74th meeting all-time between GSU and JSU. Grambling State leads the all-time series against Jackson State, 49-23-1
Grambling State has won the previous two meetings, including a 26-24 victory over Jackson State on Oct. 25, 2025, in Las Vegas and a 41-20 victory in Grambling on Sept. 21, 2024.
The Tigers enter the contest with a 3-2 overall record and a 1-1 mark in SWAC play after earning a high-scoring 63-59 victory over Alcorn State during Homecoming. Grambling State will look to carry that offensive momentum into another important conference matchup while defending its home field against a Jackson State team that has opened the season 5-0 and 2-0 in league play.
The matchup features two of the SWAC's most productive offenses. Jackson State is averaging 39.8 points and 471.6 yards per game, while Grambling State is averaging 36.2 points and 441.0 yards per game.
