- All-District 4-5A first-team for coach Sid Edwards despite missing three district games with an injury
- Had 58 tackles, 42 solo, with an incredible 21 tackles for loss
- Tallied 10 sacks and three pass breakups for an 11-2 team that reached the third round of the 2013 playoffs
- Played his first three years at Scotlandville Magnet, helping team to a pair of state playoff appearances and a 14-7 overall record in his sophomore and junior seasons
