High School: Played football for two years and was on the track and field team for one year at Airline High School in Bossier City, La., in which the Vikings' track and field team were regional and district champions in the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relays during his senior year... received first-team All-District, All-City and All-Parish honors for football his junior and senior year... placed second in the 4x400 state meet in track and field his senior year.
 
Personal: Son of LaQuisha and Brutus Pouncy… majoring in criminal justice with aspirations to work for the DEA.
