Mikayla Etienne joins the Grambling State women's basketball coaching staff after spending the 2025-26 season as assistant coach and director of player development at ULM.
Prior to ULM, she helped lead Pearl River Community College to a 25-3 record, the MACCC regular-season championship, and the fewest losses in program history.
A former standout player at Panola College, Southwest Mississippi Community College, Mississippi Valley State University, and Nicholls State University, Etienne earned NJCAA Division I All-America Honorable Mention, First Team All-MACCC, and
All-Region 23 honors during her collegiate career.
A native of Grambling, Louisiana, she holds an associate degree in physical education from Southwest Mississippi Community College and a bachelor's degree in mass communications from Mississippi Valley State.
