Can you say “Winner”? Kisha Patterson knows how to win. She has proved it over and over again. She played on a high school state championship team and then helped her junior college bring home a National Runner-up banner in 2007 and a National Championship in 2009-2010. She was a conference first team selection at Tolleson High School her freshman year and then Co-Player of the year her sophomore year. Her junior college posted a 72 and 1 record while she was there. Kisha comes to us by way of Arizona State. This young lady plays the game with so much heart and passion and comes with serious tempo each practice. I predict that she will be a favorite of GSU Tiger fans as well as coaches in the SWAC this season. Look for Patterson to have a legitimate shot at Defensive Player of the Year this season. Miss Patterson is working on her Masters degree in Sports Administration.
