Nick Wheeler was named the Grambling State University Male Student-Athlete of the Week.

Wheeler batted .429 in four games last week and had a .857 slugging percentage. He went 6-for-14 at the plate, with two home runs, including a grand slam. In addition, Wheeler drove in eight and scored four times. He went 3-for-5, with seven RBIs and a pair of homers in a 15-13 loss to Southern.
