Named SWAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week:

Anderson (F/C, 5-11, Sr., Arlington, Texas) averaged 16.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 2.5 assists in a 2-0 week for the Lady Tigers. She posted a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Mississippi Valley State and added 15 points, eight rebounds and six steals versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff. For the week, Anderson was 14-of-27 (.519) from the field.
