Grambling, La. - The University of Houston and the American Athletic Conference announced that the Tigers September 6th game against the Cougars will be televised nationally on ESPN 3. Last week the network announced the game would change to a 7 p.m. kickoff to accommodate the television broadcast.
The game against Houston will be held at the all new Houston Football Stadium, which is scheduled to open in August. This will be the first time in 2014 that one of the ESPN family of network stations will carry a GSU football game. As of now, the Tigers are scheduled to be on national television three times this season. Including the game against Houston, the Tigers will face Mississippi Valley on ESPN3 and an ESPN station to be announced later on November 6th and the Bayou Classic Thanksgiving weekend on NBC.
