GRAMBLING, La. | The Grambling State University volleyball team closed out its home campaign on Thursday night as the Lady Tigers were swept by Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 3-0, in a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) match at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff (12-19 overall, 11-7 SWAC) took all three games, 25-20, 25-20 and 25-23, to claim the victory.

Chasity Nicks paced the Lady Tiger offense with 10 kills and seven digs.
L'Muriell Thrower and
Diemend Richardson added 14 and 10 assists, while
Erineka Mollere led the way defensively with eight digs.

Lisa Casimie led Arkansas-Pine Bluff with 13 kills, while Taylor Burrall chipped in with 10. Britney Sahlmann tallied a match-high 40 assists, while Kendalle Howard and Jade Sanlin recorded 14 and 13 digs, respectively.

Inside the Numbers
· Grambling State finished the match with 32 kills, 29 digs, 29 assists, 4.0 total team blocks and three service aces.
· Arkansas-Pine Bluff tallied 48 kills, 46 assists, 45 digs, six service aces and 5.0 total team blocks.
· Grambling State hit .227 in the three sets and committed just 10 errors on 97 attempts.
· The Lady Golden Lions hit .250, including .357 in the opening set with 20 kills in 42 attempts.
· There were 11 ties and five lead changes.
