STARKVILLE, Miss. | The Grambling State University volleyball team wrapped up play on Saturday morning at the Bulldog Invitational, hosted by Mississippi State, with a 3-0 loss to South Florida at the Newell-Grissom Arena.

South Florida picked up the win 25-12, 25-17 and 25-10.

Chasity Nicks paced the Grambling State attack with six kills, while
L'Muriell Thrower added 11 assists. Defensively, Thrower and
Erineka Mollere combined for 12 of the Lady Tigers' 24 digs.

South Florida raced out to a 25-12 first set lead and didn't look back.

Grambling State kept the match close in the second set before South Florida finished with a 25-17 win. The Bulls ran away with the third set with a 25-10 victory.
