How it Happened
- Grambling State (2-4) jumped ahead quick with a 6-0 starting the opening set.
- Jarvis Christian attempted to come back and cut the margin to 16-15, but the Lady Tigers claimed the opening set.
- In the second set, GSU grabbed an 11-6 advantage and hung on for the 25-20 victory.
- The Lady Tigers never trailed in the third set, sealing the match with a 25-22 win.
