Box Score With less than six miles between Grambling and Ruston, the Lady Tigers of Grambling State University and Louisiana Tech are quite familiar with each other. In this Lincoln Parish Showdown, the Lady Tigers dropped the contest 4-1 to the Lady Techsters.
 
GSU couldn't get anything going until the top of the seventh inning but they held LA Tech to one inning of scoring. Angela Perez singled up the middle before exiting for pitch runner Aaliyah Lowe. Lowe advanced to second on a wild pitch, and advanced to third on a sac bunt. A wild pitch enabled Lowe to come home, scoring the lone point for the Lady Tigers.
 
Perez took the loss for GSU on the mound; facing 25 batters in six innings. She only allowed four runs on seven hits, and no base on balls (walks).
 
Grambling State will be back in action again when they travel to Alexandria, La. to take on Louisiana State University- Alexandria in a doubleheader scheduled for Tuesday, February 25^th. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 pm.
