Box Score GRAMBLING, La. --The Grambling State University Lady Tigers basketball team is looking to turn things around from their 51-59 loss to Prairie View A&M University at home today.
The Lady Tigers was able to gain a six point lead at the 3:19 mark in the first half which gave them the upper hand but Prairie View answered back tying the game with both teams securing 24 points at the half. GSU's momentum shifted and shouldn't secure the lead in the second half which gave the Lady Panthers their largest lead of the game by 12.
Junior forward
Yosha Watson led the Lady Tigers with 17points, four total rebounds, two assists, and seven steals. Freshman guard
Monisha Neal also contributed eight points.
Next, the Lady Tigers (8-16, 5-8) will travel to take on the Lady Tigers of Jackson State University on Saturday, Feb. 21
st at 3:00 p.m. in the Williams Assembly Center.
