LAS VEGAS, Nev. | The Grambling State University bowling team recently participated in the 2020 Stormin' Blue & White Classic. Nearly 20 teams participated in the classic, including some of the top NCAA bowling schools such as Vanderbilt, Nebraska, Stephen F. Austin, Monmouth and more.

"This was an overwhelming experience for our ladies," said head coach Barbara Lewis. "Our team was fortunate enough to see collegiate competition at the highest level outside of the NCAA championship, and they also met members of the United States National bowling team (team USA) as well as members from the Junior Gold Bowl Championship."

The Lady Tigers finished thirteenth overall with an average score of 123.9.

"The kids were encouraged, motivated, and inspired to compete in a tournament of this magnitude," said Coach Lewis.
