Box Score MANHATTAN, Kan.-The Lady Tigers (3-7) suffered a loss to Kansas State University (8-1) in matchup this afternoon with a final score of 38-61.
In the first half, the Lady Tigers started off strong by securing 24 points while Kansas scored 32. However, in the second half, the team was able to secure 14 points against Kansas.
Grambling State University's leading scorers of the game were No. 3 Shanice Poole and No. 24 Yosha Watson both securing nine points each. McClendon contributed four steal for the team.
Kansas's leaders were No. 3 Deborah Meeks and No. 50 Shaelyn Martin. Meeks led the team by scoring the most points. She finished the game with 16 points and four assists. Martin had 11 points and two assists.
The Lady Tigers will now regroup for their next game against the University of Arkansas on Monday, Dec. 29th at 6:00 p.m.
